A "good stat" line doesn't mean anything when he disappears for games at a time. It's great he got a couple tap-ins against the worst team in the East. Hopefully they play the Capitals every game for the rest of the year.

First one wasn't a tap in. And goal scorers live off tap-ins, its called going to the right area on the ice. Anyways, its between you and Leeman, I'm moving on.

I thought for sure Kadri wasn't going to touch the ice again after hitting Neuvirth. You see the little convo they had on the bench? Frattin and Kadri just missed out on more points tonight, they got some real chemistry going.

Carlyle knows better, Kadri was pushed in, didn't run the goalie.

Dumb call.

Phaneuf and Kessel for Ovechkin as of now... would you do it?
- Tee-Dot

I honestly think Ovie is headed back to Russia within the next 4-5 years.

He doesn't even look like he wants to be here.

Kadri doesn't have to hit Neuvirth to get an open net. Neuvirth does it all by himself.

It's hilarious, he criticizes Kessel for not going to the net, and discounts another guy's goals for doing just that.

Friggin hypocrite.

Did someone take a steak knife to the face of the Tampa Lightning's coach's face?

First one was Capitals error. Defenseman coughs up the puck and Neuvirth isn't even paying attention, has his back turned and leaves the net wide open.

Second one, Franson breaks his stick and the shot turns into an unintentional pass to van Riemsdyk. He shoots the first one right at Neuvrith's glove, he doesn't hold on to it and gets a tap in to an open net.

Like I said, it's great he can beat up on the last placed team. Let's see how many games it is before he shows up again. This year, so far, he has one good game and then goes invisible for a few which is his calling card since his Flyer days.

JVR had low percentage tap ins.

And Kessel isn't a playmaker.

Neither can be effective defensively.

More merchandising for M.L.S.E.

If Ovechkin doesn't turn his game around that will be the worst contract in the league come next season.
