Yes because that's exactly what i said

No, I was being facetious.

However, it would be nice if some people were to consider the practical implications of getting rid of your only legitimate top pairing defenseman and replacing him with AHL call-ups and 18 year olds.

We should do a poster of the year at the conclusion of every Leaf season. This year you'd get my vote, that's not sarcasm, that's just me kissing ass.

What, you don't know about the Eksy Awards?

Good to see a new blog.

The last one was a bit goofy where we started comparing Ryder to Kessel in terms of goal scoring.

I find it more fun when the leafs are winning and we aren't at each others throats

I find it's much more fun around here if you twist other people's words to suit your own purposes.

Dozzer thinks that Kessel is playing like he has chronic myelogenous leukemia.

Good questions like yours often go unanswered on here. Probably a good idea to go to another site for real information. This site is for the self-righteous with plenty of opinions and no substance.

I hear Carlyle's pretty transparent about his reasons for doing things, just not sure if any media guys asked him last night wtf was up with that. I'm only theorizing based on his comments this morning about giveaways, he was referring to Kadri in the 2nd period....I just want to be sure. I'd also follow it up with asking why the other two give away trios were given longer ropes.

Like it may also have had to with faceoffs in the defensive zone, and Kadri having a miserable stat line last night there.

And seriously, Carlyle has to rethink when he puts his fourth line out and which d-pairing they go out there with.

Gardiner is hardly an AHL player.. I know Rielly is young but he is good enough to play on this team.

Yeah that is it, tank the season and pick a player we don't need, you people are something else, un(frank)ingbelievable.

Why do I bother.

wait, wait, wait, wait

you're saying the Leafs don't need Seth Jones?

If you had bothered to read the last thread, I laid it out for everyone.

The Leafs will be drafting the best centre 6'3" or over.

Thank you.

This team desperately lacks the big bodies up front. It seems like every team we play against has these types of players and they dominate us when we play. Its been far too evident already.

No, he's not.

He's not at the point in his career where he could be brought up and anointed the savior. It's a lot more forgiving to make a mistake in the OHL than the NHL.

I never said he would be the saviour.. I think he gives us a better chance of winning than Holzer, fraser, or even Kostka.. Or maybe even liles.

It was pretty hilarous how he entered the thread last night literally 10 seconds after we lost. Like I said, he's become just a caricature now.

It could also back fire and the guy never develops properly.
