Not trading Kessel is a good way to do that.

Let's trade more defensive defenders for big forwards who don't use their size.

It's not like the team has problems playing defense or anything.

And Schenn solves this how?

Step one: trade everybody for picks.

Step two: Use those picks to find franchise players.

Step three: Trade away those drafted players when they don't turn into franchise players. Acquire more picks.

Step four: Finally find young franchise player.

Step five: Surround him with Jonas Hoglund and Robert Reichel for most of his career.

Step six: Trade franchise player for picks. Begin at step one again.

- Leeman4Gilmour

Pretty much. This idiocy is amusing when you sit back and look at it.

Then again, its all about the mystery box...isn't it?

I wonder if the Leafs could trade Kessel to the Oilers for one of there young studs.

Eberle would look good in a Leafs uni

Come on man. The Leafs D was among the leagues best before the trade. At least be logical about this.

Because van Riemsdyk clearly solves that problem with his -2 and his non-existent defensive effort.

Nah, Eberle is too old now.

Leafs need something more unproven if they want to get full value for a guy who scores 30+ regularly.

Kessel told him not to worry about playing defense in Toronto cuz all the brainwashed fans don't care and will defend his style regardless

Kuleman/Kessel/JVR
Grabo/MacArthur preferrably see him traded to the KHL for nothing/Bozak
McClement/Kadri/Frattin
who cares on the 4th..put them out to fight...if the puck drops and there is no fight tell them to head for the bench immediately

Kessel needs to play with someone who can go into the corner and not get checked out of the rink....Kuleman is all the leafs have who can take a hit and semi hang onto the puck...TAKE PHANEUF OFF OF THE PK AND PP until things start to go better.
cheers baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Not the Reichel that showed up for us at the end of his career.

The Reichel whose idea of a penalty shot in the playoffs was to take a slap shot form the blue line.
