....That has nothing to do with battling for a puck. Absolutely nothing.

Good day sir. I can foresee this conversation to be a waste of time.

In comes another one... give me a break

Battles for a puck = battles to try and score.

A concussed Gardiner is head and shoulders better than Holzer and Fraser.

Komi, has actually been fairly decent this year.

- faceto27

Actually, I saw the first couple periods of Gardiner's return game. He was horrible. He wasn't even the same guy.

I really hope the concussion didn't damage his career. He was one of only two Leafs bright spots that I can see.

What I want to know... and this has probably been pointed out... Why the F was frattin not getting consistent playing time on the power play? Kulemin was playing over him.

More than a week I've been saying this.

It's been met with violent hostility.

you know what this team is really missing? its heart and determination to win. (frank) do any of you remember the days that gilmour carried this team. Even if there opponent was better dougie put the team on his shoulder and made it an exciting and hard working team with a determination to win. Name someone on our roster that plays like that cause its definately not dion. He skates so casually out there like where the (frank) is the urgancy in his game and leadership to get these guys going. we might be outclassed on most nights but put up a fight
- meatball21

Agree. There Is No One on this team that is in the same Galaxy as Gilmour or Clark were. Real, selfless WINNERS. Grabo has flashes but gives up when everyone else does around him. Im betting Dougie could still play on these forward lines and not look out of place. He did look a bit like George Jung the other night though.

And I play the saxaphone better than I play the violin.

Although I've never actually played the saxaphone...

- Atomic Wedgie

Bozak has played the violin and the saxophone and he plays the saxophone better than the violin.

Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding.

Is that your doorbell or what I've been saying for over a week?

Komisarek has been better this year and I really do wonder why he has not been playing more.

I was hoping he could keep up the good work and the Leafs could sell high at the deadline with so many teams looking for D. His conract is not *that* onerous and only goes one more year.

think its bullpoop that hes not playing. fraser is a pylon and as bad as komi has been in other years, this season he hasnt warranted the benching. IMO he outplayed franson and fraser and on most nights liles

Here's a better question: why is Bozak still getting PP opportunities over Kadri?

If the knock on Kadri is that he's only offence, doesn't that kinda sorta imply he could be a help on the PP?

I brought that up the other day, I would rather have Komi in the lineup than Fraser, I still like Holzer but he was brutal last night, that is not his game, he is usually very dependable when with the Marlies.

As for Gardiner, he was much better against the Bulldogs on Saturday, was skating well and moving the puck, he will be back, my guess in a week to 10 days, even sooner.

Komisarek's play has gone from buy-out to conditional 7th round pick.

If you are going to dream a little dream, make it one where Komi is traded at the deadline.

"Sell high" is simply asking too much.

I'm a little baffled as to why Leafs fans are so bent out of shape over this.

He was terrible. The best place for him is the Marlies, until he can show he's back close to 100%.

I actually haven't minded Fraser's game. He keeps it pretty simple. Holzer has looked overwhelmed at times though. Komisarek has looked okay. Same as Fraser, he's kept it simple. Franson needs to stop having 2-3 brain farts a game
