95 devils cup winning team doesn't have an asterisk next to it/them

you still have to go through 4 rounds and get 16wins to lift the cup

while you don't play the long 82 reg season games they are playing more games with little rest with less room for error.....its still taxing on the body and still exciting

no asterisk unless your in the nba

with the devils its more understandable since they have won 2 more cups since then and not too long after and were in the playoffs consistently (total 5 finals) but i guess if a team like Edmontonor the isles who haven't been to the playoffs in a while make it and win then you have more of a debate if they don't make the playoffs again for a while
