Yeah, buffalo connection is nice, one of my favorite Sabres. I'd like a guy with NHL bonafides, but I wouldn't be displeased with that hiring.

if i had to choose out of mckinon or jones i would prefer mckinon just because you can luck out on a defenseman past the top 10 picks in a future draft but a legit scoring center is harder to luck out finding past the 10th pick.

I liked his coaching style during the WJC. Even when they were up big in games he had them pushing for more still. I want a coach like that.

Yea maybe its just me but I still think its safer taking a forward with a top 5 pick. Defencmen are harder to project.
