Pretty impressed by Saad's play on the goal. The way he manhandled Braun to get to goal-scoring position, the shot was nothing special, looked like (at least) it went off Niemi's pad up to the top shelf. But love to see that play rewarded.

Bickell having a very nice game. Kane has been terrible. Crawford very shaky early. Kruger and Frolik and Shaw also good.

Usually when a game starts this wild, and you think the final's going to be like 8-7, it ends up still being 3-3 at the end of regulation. Let's hope the Hawks have at least one more in them tonight.

Crazy game so far. Hard to watch if you play goalie . Hawks did a good job of turning this game from a slugfest to a track meet. Let's see if they can tighten up on D in the last 40.

It was nice...Saad's had a pretty steady attitude throughout his early season scoring slump, so nice to see him break the goose egg. Maybe the floodgates open ?
