Yep it all started with Liles and that wasn't the only time in the game that he got breatin on a icing...

Afraid of getting hit and gives up the puck..Unacceptable in the NHL..

he had a good first.. was using his body to block guys and tie guys up but the rest of the way he was brutal

He wants another 7 mil contract he needs to earn it. Hurricanes will be pretty dangerous if Tuomo Ruutu gets healthy

Semin-EStaal-Tlusty
Skinner-JStaal-Dwyer
Larose-Jokinen-Ruutu

yeah for sure they have a ton of fire power, D isnt great - as you can see we got like 40 shots last night just couldnt score, and when we did, it was called back...BS.

id honestly love to know their reasoning, kick it in, yeah ok, it hit both of bozaks skates within a tenth of a second off a 75mph shot

id female dog slap that (frank) who made that decision.

I have given up trying to defend any of the experienced guys on this team as they simple can't get it done on a regular basis...

especially if you are afraid of getting hit by Skinner... When you watch other teams Dmen, they know when Kessel is on the ice and they have 0 panic in their game down low. They know that worst he might do is attempt to slash their stick as he skates past them.

Still in 8th....win tonight and all you bandwagon jumpers will be all on board again.
I wonder why nobody wants to play in Toronto. Between ignorant fans and media better start drafting cause nobody is signing in TO.

His back skate was making an obvious forward motion. I thought it was follow through on stopping, they thought it was a kick. Thems the breaks.

who are you talking to? us fans who are pissed off that certain guys are not playing at the caliber of hockey that they should be? cause if you think dion is playing his A game then you should probley toss on a habs jersey.

il cheer for the leafs if we are on a 20 game losing skid, always, forever, but it doesnt mean im not going to show my displeasure with guys like Phaneuf who are playing like a bag of poop.

Have to believe if the Leafs can stay in the hunt at the 25 game mark they can make the playoffs.
The young legs might be able to have a step or to on some good veteran teams. Nobody knows how this is going to play out until at least the 20 game mark.
When your tied for the last playoff and 4 points out of 3 and your fan fan base wants to finish dead last means your pretty (frank)ed.

but a 25% chance is much better than less than .5%

this team is just not that good... no consistency, weak D play, they look great 1 game and terrible the next.

Frattin... playing 6 of 9 games is the Leafs leading scorer while averaging only 12 mins a game and not on the pp (that can't do f-all).. brilliant!

if the puck ONLY hit his back skate, sure i can live with that...its iffy, but i could have lived with it.

but, that wasnt the case in my eyes, and i watched it on the tv a few times and this morning as well.

the puck clearly hits his front skate, then rebounds off his back skate which is in motion towards the net, whether he is stopping or angling his foot towards the goal, there is no way a player can bank the puck off two skates in less than a second and mean to do it while being covered in front by Eric Staal.

that call ruined the game, it would have been 2-2 going into the third, and i highly doubt the leafs take the back to back penalty's at the end of the 2nd that led to the 3-1 start in the third period.

boston game rask the alien was out of his crease and the player was moved into him, yet another example of horse poop.

if we get another one called back tonight you wotn see me online for a few months cause il be driving to Toronto and il be tanya harding some mook.

when you combine last nights effort, and the history of the last 8 years, of course the fans are going to be expecting the worst.

I am just really tired of the horrible home game efforts, and the Leafs being the cure to all other struggling teams/players problems.

Something needs to change at the ACC, and please let is start with our celebration music. I can't stand it.

MLSE has hired someone to look into changing the feel/atmosphere at the ACC...

Jeff Blair was talking about it this morning on The Fan..

take away all the spritzers and wine and sell beer and whiskey only

that will either get the suits drunk to the point they become real fans or they'll stop buying seasons tickets to shmooze their clients.

then real fans can take their place.

when the leafs need to come out hard at the top of the period at home its gotta be tough playing to a half empty building

the majority of the people who take up the lower bowl seats in toronto are the types who are in private boxes everywhere else in the league (for the most part)

maybe they should just turn the entire upper bowl into boxes and give the good lower bowl seats to the real fans.

when i go to a game during the week im flabergasted at how horrible the leaf fans are...

if you hit a game on a saturday, its ELECTRIC in there, not nearly as many suits, real fans go...people are drunk, its fun.

irritating!
