They were never, ever going to leave Pittsburgh.
Morning, my Leafy friends.
In the history of hockey, was there ever a game as boring as Saturday night's Leafs game?

I know his stats look terrible if you don't count points. - robin_steele264
Yes, he's scored some points so far this year.
Let's see if it lasts. Or it's just like his 8 point game last year, and he goes back to doing what he has done for the rest of his career. Suck.
It takes more than a few games to change my opinion on a player. Otherwise I'd be one of the fools screaming to trade Kessel. |

Big week for the Buds. Leafs need these 2 points at home in regualtion. We are usually better on the road but Jets and Habs games worry me as they are both playing really good lately. |

Schenn's gonna knock Kessel out of the lineup for the remainder of the season. He will finish with 0 goals on the year. - Feeling Glucky?
If anything, they go after Phaneuf, wouldn't they. Didn't he lay out little Schenn a while back? Wouldn't that be where the hatred lies? |

Leafs historically don't do well in Winnipeg, it the only place where the Leafs visit in Canada that you can't hear the Leafs fans in the arena as much. |

Wow thats sad and tragic. Parents should never have to outlive their kids.
I always thought it was a feel good song about a fathers pride, which I suppose it is, but its not the whole story in this case. |

They should have turned off the lights and rebooted the whole thing. Apparently, that helps.
Can't help but think the game would have been at least a bit more exciting had that 1-1 goal not been disallowed. It was all clutch and grab, old school trap after that.
As for the Pens, I'm not sure who to believe. I'd like to read the book mentioned in this article, though:

That song by Tom Cochrane, "Big Leagues", took on a whole new meaning with the birth of my son just over a year ago. I bet all dads feel the same way - systemtool
After years of games, practices, etc, my kid is off to university and I miss it big time.

What age should I start my kid skating at? Would you recommend?
I was born in Toronto, but moved to California at age 1 and didnt move back until I was 7. I didnt learn how to skate until I was 10, and was way behind kids my age at that point, so I dont have my own experience to guy by as to the best age to learn to skate and play. |

You've got to be going back to some pretty ancient history, that has nothing to do with this team, to talk about how the Leafs do in Winnipeg. They've had two games, maybe, since being back in the Peg? |

Canes, Caps, Jets, Habs.
I know it might seem too early to talk about "make or break" games, but if this team is to have a shot at the playoffs this year, they need 6 points this week. |

Same city though, for some reason they never do really well there, same with Buffalo. I think their last visit to play the Jets they stunk. |

It is devastating to watch and you cannot do anything about it but be there for them, went through it with my Mom and brother a few years apart. |

Weird how some of these songs have such different meaning than you might think. Like my buddy who said he liked to play "Ill be watching you" during romantic moments with his girlfriend. Isaid "dude...you know that song is about a disturbed stalker right?" He was at a loss lol |
