sorry with galchenyuks celing and high draft position i think its a pretty even deal straight up. not to mention the cap savings.
- habsrock71

I agree.. But we have this history with kessel you may have heard of? It involves giving up something that makes galchenyuk and a first rounder seem like peanuts.

kessel?

lol

what difference would it make?

- Dozzer

If you want to give him another reason to leave, bench him.

Actually, that's a good idea. Bench him. He won't resign and then we can finally trade him.

I like this bench Kessel idea.

I agree......lets bring in Mike Brown to replace him. At least he goes to the net and scores as much as Kessel does, this year.

anything but....forechecks hard, plays at all ends of the ice, can use him in almost any situation, fights, hits, he's basically a true hockey fan's wet dream.

That's purely opinion.

Kessel survived 3 years of Wilson.

That.. And I don't think anyone really believes completely benching kessel is a realistic move of any variety

Three years under an American Ron Wilson that only helped him pad his offensive stats and help him get an even bigger contract as an UFA.

Forget Stastny.

He's overrated and overpaid. The Leafs already have a few too many of those clowns as it is.

he is over rated and over paid but without him, bc of injuries and the o'reilly hold out, we would basically be a really good AHL team

Frattin Grabovski JVR
Komorov Kadri Kessel
Kulemin McClement MacArthur
Brown Steckel Orr

Dion Gunnar
Gards' Franson
Kostka Liles/Komi

- AngryWhiteMale

^ Gunner is hurt.. and gardiner needs more time still. This is what i would do for next game's line up against caps: and brown is hurt

Frattin Kadri Kessel(Kessel needs to score and with kadri and frattin being the best players on the leafs, it might get him too)

JVR Grabo Mac (JVR played good on grabos line b4)

Kulemin Bozak Komarov

Steckel Mcclement Orr (having both orr and mclaren is a (frank)ing waste, both dont even contribute, they only fight, we have too many fighters on this team at the moment)

Kostka Phaneuf(this line has barely anything to do with kostka, he plays a good game of hockey, its more phaneuf)

Liles Komi

Holzer/Fraser Franson

Reimer
Scrivens

*** Gardiner really needs to get back his form and get brought up again, gunner needs to get healthy because he is the only one that can bail out phaneuf big time on the first pairing of defense.***
