No poop! I've seen better defense by the Timbits during the intermission. - As_I_See_It
The real question is whether or not one of those Timbits could play center.
Franson looks like he could be pushed off the puck by one of them. Or even Jeff Skinner. |

Pretty sure we are still waiting for your system/line changes theories still... - ShootingSemin
How long do you think it takes him to figure out that New Jersey, Nashville and Phoenix are notorious for taking no-name, no-talent players and coaching them in such a way that they overachieve by playing a strong defensive, team oriented game?

haha true dat. nice to see Cam actually play well for once. $10 says he will get lit up by the Sens on Thursday. - BWithering
well he certainly picked the wrong game to get hot
and the sens are without spezza, not nearly as threatening offensively |

I'm just calling out your BRUTAL calls of talent over the years just as you are to some innocent poster.

Hey UG,
I was wondering if you can tell me who on the current Leafs roster can play NJ, Pheonix, or Nashville hockey.
Thanks,
- Pen15
While you're at it, see if you can get an answer on who has more top 10 draft picks in their current lineup. Toronto and LA. Let me know how that goes..

Hold up, is he still down because of injury? Is he playing with the Marlies, or injured? If not injured, why the (frank) is he not with the leafs, sorry for all the questions, thanks... - ShootingSemin
Who Gardiner? He was up, but they just recently sent him back down to get up to speed...I'd rather a sloppy Gardiner regaining his form than any 3 of those guys healthy. |

Dan Ellis shut them out in Raleigh the other day, however our win one/get blown out consistency isn't working for me.

Right, because Carolina knows how to play defense amazingly well. It's not like half of their team fell down a dozen times each during the first period that gave the Leafs a ridiculous amount of chances right? It's not like the Leafs got 40 shots on net. Nor did the Hurricanes defense give away boatloads of pucks in their own zone. |

Good to see Frattin and Kadri are the only guys who generate offense with talent and still get 11 and 13 minutes each. - Two_For_Truth
Up until tonight I was willing to give RC the benefit of the doubt. Tonight, not happening. The worst part is dude, the second I saw Kadri give the puck away twice in the 2nd period, I knew what was coming. Didn't matter that Grabo did it like 4 times before that, or that bozak and Kessel were doing the same things, I know Kadri's line was going down for it. Bullpoop. |

Reimer clearly cost us this game.
He should have known better than to trust Kostka and Franson in front of his crease. |

I feel bad for Reimer.
Kostka with a list of bone head moves.
Phaneuf hitting lupul/Kadri/JVR/ref and not the net.
Holzer showing he is bush league with that knee on knee.
Franson with a terrible defensive turnover that led to a goal
4 leafs in the corner on another goal, leaving Staal open in front
Carlyle playing the 4 line far too much in the third.
That poor boy faced 40 shots tonight.
Sure makes you miss Gunnar and Gardiner. Kadri and Frattin the lone bright spots tonight. Frank 3/4ths of this team. Even when we win I am not impressed with our defensive depth. Not worried about kessel. . |

Sort of like RC is/was supposed to do with the Leafs?
Just waiting on the results to start kicking in...because if they don't, it quickly becomes plausible that player personnel matters...and we MIGHT not have it... |

whats bothering me is when you listen to carlyle during the pressers the reoccuring theme from him is:
"if the guys will buy into the system then.."
IF
i hate when the coach says IF... usually means the players arent listening, or at least some arent. |

Much better to have kept Wilson and lose games 7-1 instead of 1-0. |

Let's just hope that when Eakins inevitably gets a job as a head coach in this league, it's with the Leafs and not Montreal or some BS. |
