Few observations....Holtzer was terrible for the most part, Grabovski was once again brutal he needs to start playing, Frattin skated hard all night and was probably the Leafs best player, Phaneuf needs to hit the damn net, special teams were weak once again, wasn't Reimer's fault, Kessel while he's getting his chances needs to get one it's getting a bit ridiculous...take the puck to the net. Overall 2nd period was just brutal, even with the goal that shouldn't have been called back imo.

Mike Kostka is apparently a defenseman in the NHL.

Explain? Other than the one good playoff run he had, which goalies often do, what else has he done? Go take a look at his numbers? Why don't you tell me Michael Leighton is one hell of a goaltender as well because of his good playoff run a few years back.

Its not stupid, he's forgotten how to drive the net. Every play is the same, sudden stop, then a shot. Ward has seen the exact same shot six times tonight (3 missed the net). And for the past 10 minutes I've watched RC roll three lines, 1,2 & the odd time 4. they got 2 minutes in the 3rd period....2! Kessel has been doing much better away from the puck, but his gone retarded with it.

Ok, these guys need to have a practice on getting shots through, how many times are shots from scoring areas out right blocked. Not even intentionally blocked all the time,, just can't get the shots through.
