Well this is the TOronto Maple Leafs we're talking about. We give poopty players like Chad Kilger and Tyler Bozak and Johnus Hoglund all the chances in the world and treat em like gold yet we $hit all over actual good players that can help us.

Unless he has the authority to make a roster change to Carolina's goalie, there isn't much shaking up that's going to work tonight.

Damn from the games I watched ( The first 2 leaf games), I thought they were a changed team. Everyone was looking forward to them thrive given the shortened season.

This is the first game I've been utterly frustrated by RC....like wtf? So Kadri got a little careless in the 2nd period with his giveaways.....he's allowed to make some mistakes. What about kessel and his stupid moves? Where's his benching?

That's a cop out imo. The Leafs do this all the time with elite goalies in a slump...they warm them up in the 1st period by shooting pucks at him, or on the ice...and then wonder why he's unbeatable by the 3rd.

That would be stupid.
Kessel has played well overall. You dont completely kill his confidence by benching him.

The first period was a little more than shooting practice. They threw everything but the kitchen sink at Ward.
