It's Lupul and JVR's own fault they got hit with the puck.

You don't stand infront of the net and not move when the shot it taken..

You stand infront of the net and you move if the puck is going to hit you. Its common sense.

but the puck shouldnt be hitting them in the wrist... generally you want a point shot low... harder to see and easier to tip... if he was taking out feet that would be understanable... but catching guys in the chest and arms isnt what your looking for from point shots

For sure he is. There's accountability on both ends.

But there's zero excuses for gooning the puck at the net above the knees when two of your own players are tied up in front of the net, especially when you have as little control of your shot as phaneuf does. The coaches have got to put a clamp on it.

His game is far to predictable right now. You know damn well its at the top of the other teams scouting report every single game. Steer kessel to the outside.

He's got the hands, there's no doubt. He can cut in on half these pylons without an issue. At the very least its going to take the predictability out of his game.
