I like the fact they are playing well, of course not perfect, but certainly some light at the end of a very long tunnel. They may not make the playoffs but should at least contend for a playoff spot and end up between 9-12 just to drive UG insane, sounds good all around really....

Boy, Nonis didn't give Phaneuf and Kessel a glowing vote of confidence about being Leafs in a little over a year, when interviewed on Sportsnet, Leafs addition, a few minutes ago. Maybe something will happen and these two underachievers will be dealt at the appropriate time. If Nonis can get a good haul for both of these underachievers, I'll have confidence that this team is going in the right direction.

Actually, that was Luongo choking under pressure, which is what he normally does.

It happened against Slovakia and again versus the USA. He almost handed them the game with soft goals and inconsistent play.

I think Skinner puts one or two in tonight. Also think Kessel finally pots one. I think this is a close game, hopefully Toronto can score first so they can go into their defensive game. Should be a good one.
