Ovechkin-Laich-Semin was one of the best lines in hockey strictly for the name.

Since we are posting useless facts.......... here's a little trivia for you all.

There is a actor who appeared in only 5 movies in his lifetime. What makes it also interesting about this, is that all 5 movies were nominated for Best picture of the year at the Oscars.

This actor played a significant supporting role in each of the movies.

Name this actor.

true if you are forced to leave school to work on the familly farm that's been in the family for the last 110 years or risk losing it. What are the option?

They can always go back to school later on an get their education.

There will always be consequences for those decisions. Some less painful that others.

Like damm should of worm that damm condom, now I've got an STD ....
or
Person was killed today because they were walking on the railroad tracks and got hit by the train. They had their ipod on before the train hit them.

- dmnted

I was assuming the kid wasn't forced.. It was an option for him.. Honestly if the farm has been in the family for 110 years and they lose it then tough luck. I'm all for farmers vs corporations but if someone decides to postpone their child's education then i would seriously question their decision making.

I thought there was still a glimmer of hope that he can be helped.

What about you, Glucky, you ever put yourself in AuaJim's shoes? Try and think what it would be like being a hockey genius and trying to get your point across to a room full of average to neanderthalesque mental capacities like all the other commenters on HB. Pretty damn frustrating, I bet.

What age should I start my kid skating at? Would you recommend?

I was born in Toronto, but moved to California at age 1 and didnt move back until I was 7. I didnt learn how to skate until I was 10, and was way behind kids my age at that point, so I dont have my own experience to guy by as to the best age to learn to skate and play.

- systemtool

Can Skate has programs from a pretty early age -- just wobbling around holding onto things and then there is Tim Bits hockey on small surfaces. I got my guy into skating at around five.

He didn't start hockey until he was around 8 or 9 when he came and said he wanted to be a goalie. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN. Big money and you will go crazy -- nothing worse than watching your kid getting shelled in a hockey game.

Interesting trivia based on this one though:

turns out Alec Guinness really was a jedi,

Days before Dean's death, Guinness told him to get rid of his porche, because he'd die in an accident.

Well, its ultimately his choice, but since ive played only forward (usually LW) that what i'll be practising with him. I want to start my boy as early as possible, to give him the best chance and so hes not behind his age group as he grows up.

Mrs. Toskala.

I dont even want to know how I'm going to react to him having a bad game (feeling bad for him) or someone hitting/checking him.
