this post is so wrong.
How can they educated himself if they lose the farm when he's in grade 8.
I get what you're saying but the analogy you are using is just wrong or you're heartless. - dmnted
Im not heartless... We are all faced with decisions in life and there are consequences for those decisions. I don't know whats so hard to understand about this. People don't have a "right" to demand money. We have a right to education though. |

In totally useless news but interesting;
You learn something new everyday about one of my favourite bands, the Beatles, this is interesting, on this day in 1968 while recording the Let it Be album, the band needed female vocals for the harmony - and as none were available in the studio they invited two fans from outside the studio to contribute the line "nothing's gonna change our world" from the Across the Universe song. - LeafMan

I don't see them stepping in when people are blowing their brains out because of concussion related issues. It's a known risk, how is that even arguable? When im working and i know what im doing is potentially harmful or even deadly i have the right to refuse. Its my right.. No one is forcing anyone to take PED's.. I understand your argument and i think it all comes down to who has a better lawyer. - Arctic_AARDVARK
The lawyers will make money regardless. And the leagues will pay them handsomely regardless. they would never risk it to begin with.
As for the concussion vs. PED issue: the occasional suicide that may or may not be related to concussions would be nothing compared to the health effects of universal use of PEDs. We'd be talking about a full blown epidemic.
And you have the right to refuse unsafe work in, say, a warehouse or a loading dock. If some business made you sign a waiver forcing you to accept the unsafe conditions as a requirement for working there, that business would be shut down faster than you could even say, "lawsuit." |

The NFL has a big impending legal problem around concussion/head-trauma related issues. If you'd like to read up on the topic: http://www.sfgate.com/hea...ould-hit-hard-4204385.php
The class action lawyers (with respect to PED related health problems) would clean up with the best lawyers the NFL could possibly hire. Bottom line - league sanctioned PED use is just not going to happen. |

One was a blade that went through one side of his skull and touched the other side, it was "potentially lethal" ...ya think?! |

but if you sign the waiver then you arn't being forced. My uncle has a dirt bike track and he makes everyone sign a waiver.. If they don't sign go ride somewhere else. I agree with everything else. |

The league will hire better lawyers then the widow house wife. I think the leagues want their athletes to use PED's... Makes a for a better product. |
