Need to be cautious with Colborne, he tends to go on hot streaks but what I like is that he protects the puck down low quite well recently.
- LeafMan

The Leafs have sorely missed the ability to dominate puck control down low and reap the benefits of wearing out the opposing line since the Mats and Gary show.

You were pushing SLRs on the (frank)ing guy. He doesn't need one.
- Tee-Dot

I told him what to look for IF he wanted an SLR and why they're worth more money.

But I told him to go HS30 to start.

You don't have to be a professional photographer to see the benefits of an SLR... they're undoubtably better cameras. But unless you're really into photography, it's not going to be worth your money.

The SLR I use isn't even a professional camera, it's a hobbyist camera that looks complicated enough to convince people to give you money.

Oh Gardner was - 2. IF this was 1991 and I didn't know anything about hockey, then that might actually mean something.
- Aquaman_2400

I don't look at plus minus stats, I watch how a player plays, for example, Blacker got a minus because of a bad bounce off the boards, you have to watch and see how a minus is handed out to have it in proper context.

No problems at all. Have you even used a p510 or are you just paraphrasing nerd's opinions from the interwebz?
- Tee-Dot

My dad owns one, I've got an HS30.(we have them for situations when we don't necessarily want to take more expensive cameras out)

We both agree the FujiFilm is better.

Gentlemen ~

I'm looking for some help. I live in southern NB, and I am a rogers cable customer.

I am too cheap to pay for "Rogers Super Sports Pack" for a bunch of sports I won't watch and for teams I won't follow.

I can't get access to LeafsTV through Rogers presently (that I am aware anyway).

Any suggestions as to how to watch games and not sell my only daughter? I do watch online sometimes, but I am tired of the fishing for a good feed and porn pop ups that come with a lot of these sites.

Thanks folks.

Scrivens is a good minor league goalie and could turn into a quality NHL backup. Bozak is good for what he is, but he's not a first line player. If he was in his proper position as a 2/3 C the fans would love him.
- Scruffton

I agree and I agree with what this post was quoting. Bozak on a third line with Koromov and Kulemin would be great. It isn't going to be long before Kadri finds himself on the first line. He has great chemistry with Frattin so why not put those two with Phil? THen make your second line Graobovski centring JVR and until Lupul comes back, Macarthur? The bottom line is that if Kadri and Fratting are legitamate top six players, if Riemer is in fact as good as he seems and with Gardner and eventually Rielly ready to augment the lineup, this team is going to suprise some people.

I am proud to finally have first hand experiance to be able to point to (instead of just trying to out-argue people who have no right to such a strong opinion) that this team is , in fact, already 2/3 through a rebuild that allows us to watch a young, exciting team with loads of potential.

Like I said before (and was summararilly attacked by fifty posters) this team compares very favorably to the Oilers. While their forwards are obviously superior, Kessel, Kadri, Lupul, JVR, Grabovski, Frattin is not a bad top six going forward. Add in superior goaltending, and bottom six forwards and the Leafs are starting to make it close. Once you factor in the D, Toronto is vastly superior : Phaneuf, Rielly, Gardner could be one of the best 3 D combos in hockey in 2 years and are miles ahead of what Edmonton has.

Once again I will say this: Brian Burke, the most unjustyfied firing in NHL history, and that includes Dale Tallon from Chicago.

He has 40, but ya as a 17 year old he's having the best year of any of that age ever, and the only comparables are Mikael Granlund (midget), Olli Jokinen (Had some PPG years) and Teemu.

Sorry I meant 40, also read he has been dominant in a lot of games as a 17 year old.

I have the Rebel, But my sister is a Pro and she uses the D-90 Nikon, beautiful.
- bixll

It's more or less the equivalent of the 60D, the next canon up from the Rebel.

Neither are full-format cameras, so they're considered semi-pro cameras... but really, you're not gonna notice a huge difference unless you're crazy into photography.

He's the best player on his team. One of the top faceoff guys in the league, amazing defensively. If he hit, he'd be the perfect prospect. Only issue is he isn't an elite skater...then again the same people said that was why Duchene should be picked ahead of Tavares
