How about Federov?

They seriously tried him at defense, and he probably would have been considered for Norris trophies at that position.

- Leeman4Gilmour

Ya he was unbelievable. How is he not in the HOF yet? From the '02 detroit team, Fedorov, Hasek, Chelios, Lidstrom, Shanahan, and probably Datsyuk will eventually join Hull, Robitaille, Larionov and Yzerman in the hall. 10 HOFers on that team!!!ridiculous.

I suggested he buy an HS30, which is at the same price-point as a p510

I enjoy taking 30 seconds to zoom in on something with the p510. Definitely better than the split second it takes on the HS30.

Also, at $800 for a macro lens on an SLR, you're talking about something that's insanely better than what you'd get on either bridge cameras. I know, because I use a 90mm sigma and it's my favourite lens .

Manual zoom, manual focus, RAW shooting. This is why I take the HS30 over the p510. Once you're used to a SLR, these are things you straight-up can't do without. If you're used to point-and-shoots, it's not an issue.

I don't know how much more I can stress that both cameras are good, I just recommended the HS30 because it's closer to an SLR experience.

Well I don't shoot professionally or for a living so the p510 is perfect for me. Also it doesn't take 30 seconds to zoom... more like 4. What kind of situation are you in where it's life or death by the difference of a few seconds to zoom?

how'd gardiner look overall? god they need him back asap.
- The Law

Not spectacular but skated with the puck well, was confident out there, he was pretty dominant on the PP though. He is close to coming back with the Leafs, if I was to guess, one to two weeks, even less.

any time you want to take a picture of something moving that's at a distance, the p510 is going to be at a disadvantage compared to the HS30.

Really!? I'm not used to hearing positive things about Colbo(no u!)rne... I kind of like it!
- 1979AD

Need to be cautious with Colborne, he tends to go on hot streaks but what I like is that he protects the puck down low quite well recently.

Beauchemin wasn't terrible. That he was able to turn him into Gardiner and Lupul was nothing short of brilliance.

As much as some people might not like to admit it, Bozak was a good pick-up for a total freebie. Ditto Scrivens.

EDIT: Clarke Mac as a reclamation project. Should have sold high on him, though.

No problems at all. Have you even used a p510 or are you just paraphrasing nerd's opinions from the interwebz?

Scrivens is a good minor league goalie and could turn into a quality NHL backup. Bozak is good for what he is, but he's not a first line player. If he was in his proper position as a 2/3 C the fans would love him.

Oh Gardner was - 2. IF this was 1991 and I didn't know anything about hockey, then that might actually mean something.
