Kessel is getting "robbed" because he's so predictable that most goalies know exact where he's going to shoot.
- Two_For_Truth

When you shoot like Kessel you can be predictable. Christ everybody knows he's going to shoot for the last 4 years. Didn't matter then. He shoots the puck as good as anybody in the league. He's playing good enough and getting enough scoring chances that he's goin got score and he'll end up with the same goal totals he usually has (pro-rated) His chances are quality and his shots are crisp....They'll start going in.
He definitely has to start scoring if the Leafs want to have any chance at Post Season so i'm not letting him off the hook. I just can't complain about the effort. Only the bad luck.

And that's exactly what Kessel is doing.
- Two_For_Truth

Oh, do you have stats on that, or are you just going to continue telling us irrelevant ones about 30 feet plus?

Yeah, there's no way Kessel should ever go to the front of the net. Or take a slap shot. Or try a deke. Or a wrist shot. Or a snap shot from closer. Nah, just keep using the same move and the same shot 40 times per game and wait for the goalie to make a mistake.
- Two_For_Truth

do you honestly think he hasn't been doing these things?

wrong

leafs are not a soft team, frattin hits, kadri hits, komarov hits, orr is nails brown is nails, we have a few dif D men who fight...

and we had 40 shots last night, 1 goal called back which changed the game...
we are a condender for a 7-8 playoff spot.

lay off the negative nancy BS.

Big D,

Hulk down and take a reality pill please.

Our forwards are not striking any fear of physical play into other teams, not even a little bit.

If you are throwing out examples like Kadri Frattin and Komorov being our physical play guys... then you just made my point for me.

Meh, they're not the Bruins, but not pushovers either.

They're second in the league in hits right now. They're not shying away from contact at all this year. And second in the league in fighting majors. They're fighting a fair bit too. Physical play is in no way a weakness for the team right now.

Fighter wise Leafs are as tough as they come in the NHL. I think he's talking about othe rtypes of toughness the top 3 lines lack which are big players on the top 2 lines. We do lack that toughness.

No, you can't. You want proof? Watch the last 9 games again. Goalies know exactly when and where he is shooting.

It's not bad luck. It's stupid shots from stupid locations. This happens to him every single year.

Leafs fans are hilarious. When something goes wrong, it's just bad luck.

Another eye witness.

I think that's part of Kessel's problem personally, that he's handling the puck too much, how many more times do i have to watch him cross the blueline and take a shot that goes nowhere.

Leaf fans are hilarious alright. When something goes wrong, they scream the sky is falling.

And you know what else happens to him every single year? 30 goals.

Half the time, it's a shot from 31+ feet. So again, the facts prove you wrong.

Funny because this franchise has seen the sky fall for eight years and people like you never seem to notice it.

at least it's not 50+ feet, like Blake, 75% of the time.

out of curiousity, what's your source on that?

They showed stats on CBC on Saturday. And yesterday wasn't any different.

Where are your stats to say Blake took 50+ foot shots 75% of the time?

Good luck with that.

Quite the opposite. I have proven stats that show that over half of Kessel's shots are from 31+ feet out.

Do you have any context for that stat or do you just parrot Glen Healy blindly?

Dude, why the hostility? Lighten up. I am pretty sure the Leafs winning or losing has no material effect on your life. At least I hope not.

As for S my own D. I would if I could, and I would never leave the house. I would also have a much more interesting career.
