So was Luke Schenn. he was horrible in TOR, I guess he's starting to turn it around in Philly. He's played 80 more games than Myers. I honestly think he will struggle until he has a new coach.

Myers either needs a change of scenery or a change of leadership. I am fairly confident that Myers will "get it" eventually. The part I'm unsure of is when, and whether or not it's worth the wait.

Leadership hopefully. Look at all the 2008 defenseman. They have all improved greatly over the past 2 seasons with different coaches. Obviously some of it is general development but Doughty was horrible last year until they made a coaching change. If we were close to a championship caliber team and Myers could land us the missing peice I would say trade him. But we should be rebuilding and being patient with him IMO

Darcy needs to earn his stripes NOW:

Move Stafford, Leopold, MYERS and Prospect/Pick (maybe even turn the page on Miller)

to either Anahiem or Colorado

Myers isnt going anywhere, I know for a fact, I think most do by now, that Darcy turned down a straight up Myers for Getzlaf trade.

Chara led the Bruins in giveaways. Had 30 more than the next defenseman with 68. Ference had 38. I think that will be the same around the league
