I think I hate our defense. None of them do a damn thing for me.
- Homer

Then please deliver us good news that we are close to or looking to trade for some defensive help.

I have noticed him lately. Not in a good way.

really? Ive noticed he scored 2 goals in the last three games.

Oh, and is a plus 5 to lead our defense.

Wow...

I just realized that Columbus will have 3 1st round picks in this seasons's draft... Los Angeles and NYR's in addition to their own... if the season ended right now they would have #3, #5, and #14.

Why is it lost for Colorado? They are 1 point out of 6th place and that is even without Landeskog and O'Reilly.
- JVince11

They look as lost as the sabres

He also was the reason for 2 FLA goals. 1 was a breakaway, other was the GW, he looked silly. Also gave MTL a breakaway but they didn't score. Difference between his mistakes and Myers, every mistake Myers makes ends up in the back of the net. He was also brutal in the BOS game but scored a goal.

His +/- is a result from being on the ice with Vanek for most of his shifts, if you don't believe me look at the ice tracker.

FLA didnt score on breakaway so i dont know what youre talking about.

also the Mueller goal IMO was on Ehrhoff, he starts to skate to the far post instead of getting Mueller. No idea what he was doing.

The Parros goal was a rebound off of a breakaway. Sulzer turned it over at the blueline, he made the same play against MTL but they did not score

Edit: it wasn't a rebound it was a pass but it was Sulzer who gave it away at the blueline that led to a 2 on 1. I agree I said it yesterday the Mueller goal was on HOff

Maybe Columbus would like to do a serious rebuild. Lets send them a couple younger guys and our 1st round pick. How about Ennis, Gerbe, Sekera, Adam and our 1st for Dubinsky, Jack Johnson and Nick Foligno.

Its a deep draft, I'd rather not move our 1st.

Read up on the reaction to Tim Panaccio's suggestion to this idea on this very site. Would make Garth blush.

He's done it a few times, It was one of the reasons he sat against toronto i bet, but he has been fortunate they haven't led to goals. Not to nitpick but on Miller's great glove save against BOS when it was 5-4 it was Sulzer who had the bad giveaway behind the net.

Both the second and third goals were goals that IMO need to be saved.
The Parros one especially.

Miller was far from good last night.

Agreed but still, that's what happens when you give up constant odd man rushes and breakaway's. Look at the Philly and first TOR games. I don't think we gave up a 2 on1 in either.

Ennis and the way he coasted back in to the defensive zone and not skating hard enough to tie up Parros was all on him. Rewatch that goal. Ennis is becoming a joke in my opinion.
Not a good one either.

Either way it's a bad turnover at the blueline while you have the lead. When Myers does it he gets lambasted. That's basically my point, whenever he makes a mistake nobody bails him out, just like in Boston. When other people make mistakes we point to the back checkers.

Myers is making way more mistakes IMO, plu she makes almost 10x more.....its ok to expect better from him.

We should expect more from Myers for that money. Not more excuses anyway.

It is. I'm not saying he has been playing good, because he is not. I just think the guy needs help from his partner too. As bad as Myers has been I would say Leopold has been worse. Myers was actually ok on sunday. Theodore made a great save on him in the first couple minutes of the game
