I don't think we'd be the best trading partner then either. We have enough of our own large contracts to contend with.

He was still a 4th line center, who was traded to Nash to play on the 4th line. Why sugarcoat it, we got a 1st round pick for a guy who mostly served as a 4th liner (a very good 4th liner) this is why having actual hockey players near the bottom of your lineup pays off

I will admit, it would be nice to have guys on the 4th line that can play as much as Goose did. He's getting 14 minutes of ice time a night in Nashville right now. He's also winning 55-57% of his faceoffs.
