How does that relate? Hecht is a forward that got more minutes then Vanek, Pom, CoHo. Hecht can't score or do anything that results in pucks going in the net.

Every team doesn't play their Matt Ellis during the last three minutes of the game, down by a goal. Every game. Without fail.

Also, fourth line players should be players like Kaleta, who at least throw their weight around while they're not scoring or defending particularly well. (Except Kaleta is at least halfway decent at defending). Ellis brings absolutely nothing to the table.

FWIW, this problem has been reported on several sites today, including TMZ, Digg, and others. Admins want you to know they're taking it very seriously, and have been working on the issue all day. It seems to be related to ad tracking, opposed to anything really pernicious.

When does Adam Burish get bumped up to the 3rd line because a rookie gets benched? When does Adam Burish get put on the ice in the final 2 minutes of a game when his team is down by a goal. Matt Ellis is not physical nor talented, he belongs in the AHL, he brings absolutely nothing to the table 0. Give me 1 good reason he is here and Kevin Porter or Marc Mancari is in roch

Because some people say that. And I'm sure you see the same things on other boards about the guys on those teams that fit in the "Matt Ellis" mold.

I haven't had a problem with the way Ellis has played. I just wish the coach would use him in the proper situations more often.

hes a depth forward. hes replaceable. you arent replacing him with anyone better.

he started over gerbe once, but thats interchangeable. he doesnt sniff the lineup when leino is back.

Just was thinking maybe it's better for both parties to move on sooner than later...

I do still hold out hope that Leino can come back and at least be useful for us this year
