I think Brouwer and Ward are exactly the type of players this team needs... bigger body.. gritty.. with great offensive touch. And washington definitely needs a goalie.. and with Gillis being there personally.. usually means something is up.

Florida and Toronto is the only other team that seems to be struggling in that department.. Florida would also be a great trading partner... but Toronto doesn't offer anything this team needs.

Totally agree, but judging by Ward's hits stats he's not very physical but Brouwer is. Brouwer would be great.

I do find it hard to believe that they would get rid of either of them. I do smell smoke. No I'm not at bloated's.

I can't see a team that wins 2 President trophy's in a row with the same core players miss the playoffs but hey anything is possible.

AV's job is on the line (windows closing). With Lou's stat and determination,i for one would be pissed off if he was,nt in net ,especially since he did so well against Edm last time

Ya I contemplated a 1st instead... but those are really players we need on the 2nd/3rd line to really beef up the top 9... a center would be better.. but obviously when kesler gets back I think you could with.
