Question about face-offs: while some of the hawks have lost a lot of draws cleanly, most seem to be off a scramble. Like edzo always says its about the other players, mainly forwards, who have to come in and help out to get control. Maybe it is more the coaching staff not teaching how to win those 50\50 draws

Stan may not be able to rely on Danault this year, Moncton has a good team and could easily make the Memorial Cup. If that happens we'd only get Danault in the 2nd or 3rd round of the playoffs (if my dates are correct).

You'll note: I've stayed out of the Sharp debate for three years running. I plan to keep that streak alive.

However, how good he is may remain up for debate (and I will grant that I believe he falls into the category of "somewhat overpaid"), I think there is a lot to the theory that I have set forth about the relative performances thus far of the guys who played during the lockout and those who didn't. And that said, i think Sharp's game will come on.
