True. They could have put McCormick at center and scratched Ellis. I don't know why he gets a pass from Lindy. At least this is the last year of his deal. Trust me, I am not advocating for Ellis, I just think maybe it's because he plays center.

Weber plays a very simple game. Get the puck. Make the outlet pass. Repeat.

As long as he's not running around trying to hit guys, his game is pretty solid. Make the hit when it's there, but don't go searching for it.
