Could Ron Rolston be a good NHL coach? I'm watching this beyond blue and gold.. and am very impressed with him..

I watched that too. It was pretty interesting.

We go there for lunch at work once in a while. Too bad I can't have any beer when I go though.

I need to go a day when I'm not in the middle of my work day.

Great lets insert another poop player in the lineup that can't score with a group of players that already cant score. sounds like a plan it's not like we need any more goons out there. Lindy ruff seriously has out stayed his welcome and needs to go.

I know, he actually does look pretty good this year. That joke isn't funny anymore.

Grigorenko isn't getting the icetime that those other guys are. It wasn't until 3 games ago that he actually had quality linemates to skate with and he's put up 2 points. He looks better every game.

Galchenyuk is playing with a midget rookie and the goon

I'd come join you, but that would involve digging out my car, and I'm just not that motivated right now.

Smid always gets a lot of hits and blocked shots and is a good stay at home D man that can contribute on the points column as well, PIM are ok as well.

That's pretty much what thought, but I usually only casually watch Edmonton games when I'm out at the bars, so I wasn't too sure...

With them in "need" of defense,
I'm curious as to why he hasn't been extended

Could be a real nice partner for either Ehrhoff or Myers

I think the Oilers might lean on their prospects next year on the D, Klefbom and Teubert. They also have Whitney to re-sign.

On February 28, 2011, Teubert was traded to the Edmonton Oilers along with Los Angeles Kings 2011 1st round draft pick and their 2012 2nd round draft pick in a deadline day trade, which sent Dustin Penner the other way.[7] Coincidentally, on November 3, 2011. Teubert went on to play his first NHL game against the Kings.[8]

True. They could have put McCormick at center and scratched Ellis. I don't know why he gets a pass from Lindy. At least this is the last year of his deal. Trust me, I am not advocating for Ellis, I just think maybe it's because he plays center.
