Boston claims they played a bad game, but I see it as the Sabres forced them into playing a bad game.

You won't see Boston play as sloppy as that again in a year of Sundays.

My favorite NHL '94 center/wing combination. Absolute powerhouse.

Maybe it will be easier when I get my Prius, much smaller than my Grand Prix. Still waiting on the 2013's to come out. Its only February already and no 2013's yet.

We have a guy in the neighborhood who does that. Sometimes he takes pity on me when I am shoveling knee high snow out of the driveway and plows it for us. I owe him a case of beer for sure!

You give Boston too much credit.I think watching Thorton getting rag dolled by Scott in the first period kind of put them all in shock. That was priceless never seen Thorton get beat that bad before.Love that Scott guy he worth his weight in gold.

Anyone in here watch Oilers games enough to have an opinion on Smid?
UFA after this season
From his stats, he seem like he'd be a great fit for us
Plays over 20min
Hits & blocks a lot of shots
Good +/- numbers the past couple years for the most part, considering how crappy Edmonton has been
And he's 27 years old

On paper, he sounds like the perfect fit for us
Any opinions?

So u don't think he's very good?
His #s make him seem like a solid, top4 "defensive" defenseman...
Kinda what we were hoping for from Regehr, and what Weber has yet to become (if ever)
U don't think a guy like tht would help us?
Or u don't think he's actually as good as it seems?

Smid always gets a lot of hits and blocked shots and is a good stay at home D man that can contribute on the points column as well, PIM are ok as well.

I always try and stay up and watch the late games. Smid is a solid hockey player. Would love to have him on this team. Good stay at home type defender who hits, blocks shots and will drop the gloves from time to time. The problem is, I think they're looking for D and I don't think they would move one of their better guys on the blueline. He would be an upgrade over Regehr and Leo; a great 3-4 type d-man!

Lol Kadri is actually playing pretty well.

He's certainly not a Galchenyuk, Connacher, Yakupov, Shultz or Taresenko. That's for sure

None of us need to defend Garth's take on him. He's been doing pretty well though, I'm happy with the pick so far.

I know, he actually does look pretty good this year. That joke isn't funny anymore.

Grigorenko isn't getting the icetime that those other guys are. It wasn't until 3 games ago that he actually had quality linemates to skate with and he's put up 2 points. He looks better every game.
