Well just shoveled my Momma's house out in Kenmore and just finished shoveling out my corner lot in the Town of Tonawanda. Thank God I have 3 young men to help.

Time for Sabres hockey!!! Going to the game tomorrow as well.

It was very light weight so it wasn't bad shoveling.

Really not worried about Subban. Montreal has almost no goal scoring from their forwards this year so far. As long as we show up and play hard, we should win. On paper we are better than the habs in every facet of the game. Montreal has tried to bulk up a bit with Prust and white in the lineup but I think the sabres can handle them as well. I would start miller today and enroth tomorrow agains a struggling Florida team. Two wins this weekend would be huge and put us right back into the mix!

I figured with the bad weather this place would be busier today. I thought most people would be avoiding digging themselves out.

Agreed Sippy. I own a corner lot though. Lots of sidewalk. About 1,500 sq. feet of just sidewalk alone.

I keep saying to my neighbors that think I am crazy that I will get a snowblower when God himself tells me its time. Until then , its great cardio vascular exercise I get less of during the winter.

Anyone in here watch Oilers games enough to have an opinion on Smid?
UFA after this season
From his stats, he seem like he'd be a great fit for us
Plays over 20min
Hits & blocks a lot of shots
Good +/- numbers the past couple years for the most part, considering how crappy Edmonton has been
And he's 27 years old

On paper, he sounds like the perfect fit for us
Any opinions?

I tried skiing once. My hip sent me divorce papers the next day. Decided it was in my best interest to not do that again.

Ever heard Jeremy White's rants on snowblowers on WGR at all? They're pretty hilarious.

Ok, last comment from me on the Boston game the other night. We really did beat them up on the ice and the scoreboard. Thornton out with concussion. Paille out with upper body injury. Bergeron missing practice for a maintenance day after Ehrhoff slams him into the boards. Stafford's elbow to Hamilton's jaw. We outhit them for the game. Other than Lucic boarding Sulzer, the Bruin's did none of their usual thuggary out there. I hope the team uses this game as a springboard for the rest of the season!

No snowblower for us either. Our driveway is super long and always fills up with snow drifts because of the wind out here. It's great cardio during the winter for sure!

If they do that type of stuff today to Montreal, it should be pretty interesting. I know Montreal has made a few changes like the Sabres to get tougher, but I don't think they'd be able to handle that type of physical play for the whole game. Could work out well in our favor.

Boston claims they played a bad game, but I see it as the Sabres forced them into playing a bad game.
