I've concluded, while in my armchair sofa, that Lindy's message is not resonating in the room. If not for Vanek, could be 0fer this season. aside from 1 line and miller, and possibly weber & ehrhoff, rest of team look uninspired, tired, confused, and disinterested. Change is needed.

Other than Evander Kane, the Jets forward group is not good.

Tavares is the only one worth anything on the Islanders.

Ill have to disagree about NYI. I like Moulson, Grabner, Okposo, and of course Tavares. I do like Nino but the Islanders are keeping him in the minors, thats why he wants to be traded.

Nope. Didn't notice it myself. He's not a smooth skater though. He worked really hard in the offseason working on it. I heard an interview with him. He's a big guy, so his skating isn't going to look the same as Ennis.

A lot of the analysts were saying that people were going to say he's not working hard enough when he's skating because of the way he looks when he's doing it. He has really long strides, so it looks like he's not really moving his feet.

I really think Pardy and McNabb should be here, Nabber is starting to look a lot better now and I've always liked Pardy he is an NHL d-man and was more than a throw in. Leo and Myers are awful to watch it's really painful.

Yep. The Islanders are going to make a run this year if they get any goaltending at all. Their group of YOUNG forwards are so friggen fast. I love watching them play. very, very exciting hockey.
