I'm starting to believe that for this team to make the playoffs Bryzgalov will have to run away with the Vezina. This is just terrible dzone play game after game.

bryz has been awesome this season but he is awful 1 on 1

This team has given up more breakaways in two games than most will all year.

You actually think that would work, I am not so sure it would.

Breakaways to elite scorers tend to end up in the net.

They might have to put terry Murray behind the bench, this is just a mess to watch, I give up. There's enough personnel to play simple basic d but this is like watching slap shot.

Un(frank)ingbelieveable. That's a disgrace. I'm sorry. But that's a travesty.

It's in the CBA. The length of the suspension determines what type of hearing it is. Whether it is a telephonic, or in person hearing.

Anyone blaming a goalie for breakaway goals needs to readjust their parameters for critiques.

They way Luke Schenn has played the last two games, I'd vote for him to be the new Ville

Played great all Season. Last game and a period. Not so much. His brother was just as bad on the first Canes goal.

Last year there was talk that the D was not confident in Bryz. What's their excuse this year? I'm thinking it goes the other way. Bryz is facing so many odd-man rushes his refusal to collapse and give up is admirable.

I always say expecting a goalie to save a breakaway is like expecting a ballplayer to get a hit.

Pitching beats good hitters 7/10 times. Good pitching beats good hitting 8 or 9/10 times.

Elite goal scorers beat goalies on breakaways 9/10 times. Elite goal scorers beat elite goalies 7/10. Sort of arbitrary numbers, but the point is still made.

Voracek got some new rocket skates for the game today.
All of them were skating better that period.

Agreed. If the guys giving up the breakaways were so sure nothing would happen, they wouldn't rush back and often take penalties to prevent them from happening.
