He's playing well, but I'm not changing my tune on Schneider.
He fell on his back on that play, not stomach. - Scooby_Doo
True, I forgot that.
I agree on Schneider, I think he's the right player moving forward, he's going to have an excellent career. |

Did Buffalo really only have 1 shot in the first period against Montreal? |

I think Schneider is too but are the Canucks not damaging the relationship with him by sitting him? |

Cheers
Got hooked on following some of these guys due to the lockout—now I can't stop. - Fosco
To our benefit! I don't follow prospects like I should. That's why I'm always appreciative when others post stats like you did. Doing all the heavy lifting... |

Meh, its 7 games in, give it some time. I'm sure neither guy right now is too upset with how things are going. If Schneider ends up back in the "backup" role, i.e. playing 1 in 8 games, then maybe we have a problem. |

This situation isn't very different then when Lu got hurt(last yr I think)and Schneider stepped in and played lights out and when Lu was healthy Schneider continued to play while he was red hot |

I'll sit anywhere you want as long as you give me $4+ million per season. |

is this where I compare his last 6 games to Scrivens and say that this gaurentees he is better. Isn't that what prock-systemmule do?
Anyways nice work Fosco. Any word on Jensen shoulder? - Bieksa#3
Pretty much.
I also like to look at it this way; if Prock badmouths a Canucks prospect, it means he likely has some potential.
Jensen sat another game with AIK, because of his shoulder, but I've heard it's just precautionary at this point.
He's still scheduled to join the Danish mens team within a week or so for an Olympic qualifier. |

That was back in the days when he was a headcase, I am also on that list. Bobby Lu has grown up since then ,and last year most of us thought he had matured into a very good goalie but CS was a better choice.
I think if Gillis hadn't screwed things up and traded Lu back at TDL it would not have been a circus . It was hard to get full value for LU so looks like now he is staying . - VANTEL
Actually, it was last season for shiddy/rey and DCT. My point has always been: the Canucks have two excellent goaltenders. Choose either and it's a win situation. I've been for Luongo, but Schneider will be fine. No lose here. |

He's a good goalie but boy does he have some major flaws.
Glove hand...flopping on belly...post to post movement....puck handling.
Schneider is more technically sound and won't have as many bad games, weak goals etc... He will be much more consistent. - Scooby_Doo
These have shown vast improvement this year. Also, Lu has always had the higher ceiling. |
