Fla does not want him .
- VANTEL

Florida makes no sense at all. They have a budget that is not tied to the salary cap, but the salary floor. Luongo makes $6.7m for a $5.3 cap hit for another what, 8 years? Unless Vancouver is going to pay a portion of his salary it never happens.

I didn't see the San Jose game, so I can't really comment on that, but what I have heard from Luongo leads me to believe that he has moved on, in his mind, and I don't see him staying beyond this season.

In other words Lu has matured .

I am not sure Lu wants out anymore. He is a legend here now

He went viral last night on twitter . He is a media dream. Do you think he would get this much love in Fla?

- VANTEL

Fla? I think I may have heard of it?

Lu was viral last night on the twitter world . He was not only the guy in Vancouver but also the most talked about subject around the world on twitter.

That tells me He's the guy. Would that happen in Fla with their two reporters at the rink?

- VANTEL

Ahhhh, do you think people would stop following Strombone1 if he were playing somewhere else?

Come on Meow, thats a great name. You get a first, a player and a backup, for Lou. You dont do that in the offseason?
- Jimmy_wiener

did anyone else like Schroeders game as much as me last night? The kid has serious hockey sense and puck distribution skills.

One of the most noticable players on the ice. Great speed and drive. Didn't look out of place against a very talented hawk team.

On the back side of Lu's contract they are paying him 1 mill and getting a cap hit of 5.3 wwhich helps them make the floor.

I think Luongo just want's to be a number one and win a Stanley Cup. Of course he want's to go home to Florida but it's a business and he knows this. If Florida won't pay the piper then he's not going there. You think he;d rather go to Toronto than stay here? I think not. If Schneider were out of the picture I think he'd be glad to stay here. He signed a 12 year contract for a reason.

I hope so because its pretty much a guarantee we can only keep one.

I thought he should have gotten a penalty shot at the end there.

He was ok, I didn't watch the whole game but he looked to stay on his skates more than in the Colorado game. I thought his no look backhand pass to Raymond was *almost* a thing of beauty, if only Raymond had made that play...

Would a really hot girl in Siberia get the same love as if she was in Vancouver or Toronto?

Yeah, but that's not for another 8 years. I am too lazy to look it up, but it goes something like:

6.7, 6.7, 6.7, 6.7, 6.7, 6.7, 6,7, 6.7, 3, 1.5, 1.

Even if Luongo plays out the whole thing, it still doesn't make much sense for a budget team.

come on, the great thing about twitter is that you can be anywhere, its the message that matters. Lu would still get re-tweeted by MSM. Maybe not as much as here in Van, but he would still be big.

PS, my wife is from Siberia...

Kassian made me nervous in the defensive zone at times but managed to hold his composure very well. He has matured tremendously.

Russian girls are hot.

His popularity would be a quarter of what it is on twitter if he was in Fla . What would he talk about , how hot it is?

Dreger Cox and others could care less what happens in Fla.

Nucker didn't adjust his lineup last night, had players sitting on the bench.

Now he has an excuse if I win this week.

If we were to trade Schneider to Columbus it'd have to be a major haul. Either all of their first round picks in this upcoming draft(3) or Johansen and two firsts(NYR,LAK)
- Boinker

K this is absolutely ridiculous. Bordering on Scooby ridiculous.

Columbus does not want Lou or Schneider. Bob is doing just fine.

Columbus is on the verge of seriously restocking their team for the next 10 years at this summers draft. They are not trading Johanson or any of their first round picks.

Think of the draft. They will likely get one of the top 3 (Jones, McKinnon, Drouin). Ny and LA are not looking too good right now so figure they get 2 picks in the 10-20 range. Pick up say a Darnell Nurse and a Max Domi?

Then take a look at their roster.

Murphy, Johansen, Jenner, Foligno, the new 3 first rounders...looking pretty stacked in a few years. I highly doubt they trade that for one of Vancouvers goalies.

Hanson kinda lost his balance a bit and accidentally swung his stick catching him behind his shin guard on his calf.
