Agreed. Saw him try to cut to the middle for a change last game, but it was a weak move and he lost the puck.He needs to build up more speed to beat defenders.

Glad to see that Luongo is going really well for you. Now you can keep him and we can stop the pressure tactics from Gillis, to Leafs management. It does go to show, that Gillis has a deficiency when evaluating talent. Canucks lose to LA, in the playoffs and throw Luongo under the bus. Just like letting Willie Mitchell walk. In Gillis, I would not trust!!

Yeah, totes. Mitchell was a pretty safe bet after a massive concussion. Should ahve given him a 4 year deal for the same money. And after he gave away the puck and got us beat by Chicago in the playoffs, too. Would have been great to double down on that.

You should be aware that based on trends, Gillis is going to be your next GM once Nonis gets canned. I'd start drinking the Kool-Aid now so you can tell all the Leafs fans that you told them so.

Actually.... think about this... AV's shelflife is almost over. Unless he wins one or two rounds, there will be calls for his head.... right about the same time that, once Toronto misses the playoffs yet again, Nonis will fire RC and hire AV.
