I'm surprised AV has been giving him as much opportunity as he has.

I think it's because he does all the little things on D, and away from the puck well, which AV likes.

Hopefully he can start showing up on the scoresheet more often.

One thing's for sure—he doesn't look out of place in the NHL.

Holtby won tonight. He's going to be their starter very soon. I think they'll be keeping their D-core.

So comfortable with the puck, and rarely makes a bad pass. Also pretty good defensively and on faceoffs.

He does look a bit nervous as soon as he looks toward the net, though. Hopefully it'll come with time/experience.

Barely though, and we definitely need some scoring or eventually Luongo or Schneider playing "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better" just isn't going to be enough.
