Its barely a quarter of a seasons worth of a sample size. Hes been playing great and has been creating a ton of chances. The goals will come.

For a guy thats top ten in goals over the last 3-4 years, its going to take a longer stretch before people should be concerned.

My 2 cents as someone who goes to these blogs, I find it inconsistent that you can call outy someone for "stupid posts"... but when when I suggest something is idiotic... I get a warning.

Play nice,be fair and above all, no more posts of GIFS with dogs getting hurt or killed. That was dispicable.

I dont think its an issue .... yet

A majority of that time has been played without a top linemate, Lupul has been injured for (rough guess) 18 of them. So he really does not have a top line Center or winger to play with. Just fill ins

I think that is something to look at...We need more 1st line talent

I'm getting kind of pissed with everyone trying to say that Carlyle is the reason that Kessel can't score. Carlyle allows scorers the chance to thrive in his system.

Ask Selanne, Perry, and Ryan. All three are snipers that have put up big numbers under Carlyle.

All that's really happening is that Phil came to camp a little out of shape (as usual) and can't keep up with the guys that are in shape. Add in the fact that Lupul is out due to injury, and the D playing him really tight, and he's in a slump.

Kessel went on 10, 12, 14 game scoring droughts with Wilson at the helm, and he had full reign and freedom for offense. Remember that year Bozak was -18 or something like that? Came from the fact that Kessel did not back check.

I'll say this much, he may not be scoring, but at the same time, he's not really costing us any goals either.
