sure, if you have a goaltender that fits that style perfectly, then yeah, he can work well with them, when you have a goalie or goalies that are more athetletic than just covering an angle and trying to be "big" in net...well (frank) it, i can already see reimer looks better/confident.

All I can say right now, is that the Leafs organization should be lauded for not giving up on this guy after his rough stretch in college.

No complaints about Reimer so far. Rebound control is as sharp as when he brok into the league.

Even the games he's lost, he's looked good.

What needs to be considered with Lu is not only that a lot of the major pieces VAN wanted for Lu are basically off the table(Kadri). But also that VAN needs to take a solid look at what they need to do to make themselves contenders again.

Kassian has done well with the Sedins. However, with no kessler, this team is really in need of secondary scoring going forward.

Is it in the best interests of VAN to trade Schneider instead of Lu, in what would probably amount to a better return? Does Lu still insist he be moved eventually?

Tough decision for Gillis to make, having TOR play so well doesn't make his situation any easier

i say, 100% (frank) lu or cory, they can have em both.

optimus just needs to get in the groove and stay healthy, hes proving time and time again that when hes on his game (healthy) - that he can come up with the big saves...even if a squeaker gets in, we still end up with the W, thats what counts!

He needs to take a page out of Karlsson's book and get low, hard shots on net, and quickly.

If he can do that JVR can work in front of the net
