I agree. Whatever he gets now is going to be underwhelming and disappointing given his repeated publicly stated demands. In fact, every day that goes by, Luongo's trade value decreases, as his 'best before' date slowly fades into the rearview mirror. Gillis's desperation was clearly shown when he mentioned that he had a 'trade in place' for Lui - what poppycock - that was a desperate plea to drum up some interest. Now it seems he is playing Luongo simply to try to showcase him.
