Frolik would have been a good pick for the shootout |

I like how you are looking for excuses after the result went Vancouver's way in a glorified COIN TOSS. Regardless of the result, the shootout is phuckin bollocks and i hope the basterds in the nhl offices considering eliminating it, because it has literally no similarity to what went on in any part of the previous 65 minutes. - prd797

Almost any forward would have been a better option than Leddy.
Saad was very impressive, he's showing he deserves to be on the top line. I liked Shaw's game too. |

Q Where do you hide a B.C. jagoff's welly cheque ?
A. In his work boots. Last place he'll look for it. And he'll find the welly cheque long before he finds a Cup at GM place

Shaw does the one thing missing on the second line and that is go to the corner and retrieve the puck. Kane has to start playing the body more the opposition has no concern about getting hit when going to the boards resulting in no unforced errors |

You guys are hilarious, as if I'm actually a BC resident? I just happen to know a thing or two about how the Canadian government works. I also know that Ontario has the highest percentage of the population on welfare, probably due to the generally poor economy. But we're here to talk about hockey right? So how about them Hawks! |

Good game. Wish it didn't have to go to shootout—would'a liked to see them keep playing till one team scored...
Thought Saad and Hossa both had great games. |

What I noticed the last 4 games is teams gumming up the middle of the ice and taking the Hawks speed away. To balance the attack the Hawks currently have it is imperative that SB make a move or moves to aquire 2 big forwards who have enough speed to get in on a forecheck and who can also play the freewheeling attack style Quenneville likes so much.
I hope the team wakes up for tomorrows game against a very poor and slow club. |

I'm sure we'll have Ray Charles in net which means we need 4+ goals to win |

Long road trip, they'll be ok. And good to know you will too wherever you're collecting welfare.

Saad - still would like to see him learning he position in Rockfish, with a more experienced wing working with 19 and 81.
He looks good going to the net - but not particularly staying at the net - and in some other areas - but not sure how much he's contributing to that line. Their top line isn't scoring as a line - no goals for Saad, no goals in 5 games for Hossa, I think, Toews has four, but one on the PP and at least two on quick rushes. |
