Very poor start to the game, the Hawks have clearly been the 2nd best team on the ice tonight. The downward trend we've seen over the past few games is continuing. Hopefully the boys wake up in the 2nd period.

Back down to earth. It was a fun start to the season.

Same team = same results. No muscle up front, can't win face offs. Skill players trying too hard. One to five too many passes in the O zone. Shoot the darn puck. If Bobby Lu is on his game you need rebounded ugly goals. Oh yeah - the Hawks have no one in front of the net.

Seems like a pretty even game to me so far - Van hasn't really had more good chances than the Hawks, Luonga has been much of the difference on the few good shots the Hawks have had.

Sharp - bad.

Kane - not good.

Bolland - invisible b

Hossa - very frustrated.

Probably wouldn't have called a penalty at all if it weren't for the scrum afterwards.

The Hawks were lucky that the refs decided to even it up.
