Johannson has some grit so he could be the temp 3rd line center. Nikitin has a lot of Ehrhoff in him, with a touch more grit
- Bieksa#3

How is he defensively?

I've actually been pretty happy with JS as 3C, but if Johansen is good enough defensively to take the spot that would be alright, but it's nice that he can also play the wing.

I like the leaf trolls in here earlier laughing that we have 9.3 in cap for our goalies .They have 12 mil wrapped up in Neon Dion and Kessel and after 7 games they have 0 goals combined
- VANTEL

Or 11 mill in Neon and komi.

If we are trading with WSH I would try and get Brouwer in return.

The Hawks core of stars is a lot younger than the Canucks a lot younger

The window for a cup in BC has closed

The ship sailed two years ago

Sorry but the team looks slow
Bigger problems than the soap opera about goalies

Maybe they will surprise me tomorrow night playing at home we will see

Canucks look slow every year at the beginning .Here is an interesting tidbit this is their best start under AV

Torres is an idiot. But the hit on seabrook was a player with his head down and with the puck. League said it shouldn't have been a penalty. Keith's hit on Danny is equivelent to Torres on Hossa. Keith hit a player who didn't have the puck and reached for his head. If Keith goes out on a stretcher I assume you will come on here saying he had it coming
- Bieksa#3

Both ugly hits and I think we both know it but if you think the Seabrook play was just a hockey play so be it
I think yiur wrong

Take care and good luck tomorrow night should be a good game

The funny thing is it's really not that much more than EDM currently has in their goalies (I guess Khabibulin is on IR).

I don't consider Komi an NHLer. Ballard must look pretty good right about now in that trade .

He,s good but hard to tell on that team IMO. I have liked Schroader I must say. But I would rather a bigger guy with some grit.

No doubt, but it's hard to see where Schroeder fits in the future plans then, unless they move Kesler to the wing.

Maybe they're showcasing him for a trade.

I think there is one team that has more in cap for goalies .It could have been last year, maybe the Islanders or Bruins .Oh yeah it is the Bruins .Thye have 25 K less than us this year and one goalie is in a cave.

Nope, nothing but a healthy scratch. Worthless. Wouldn't even make the Marlies

I think Schroader is gonna have to learn to be a winger to remain in van. He is decent in the circle though

Not looking so good this year, either.

Wonder if the Leafs fans are over there trolling as hard as they were here.

Of course he wouldn't make the Marlies. Jesse Blacker I is the only D man they dress. Plays both d spots for 60 min a game

Didn't look good the last time he was tried there while on the Moose. Who knows, though, could have been a chemistry issue.

He's been good in the circle, and also pretty good in his own end.

But, yeah, you usually want a bit more size on a checking line C.

For sure. Hope his recent shoulder issues don't persist, though. Had a shoulder injury last year, too. Not sure if it's the same one.

I think a 2 nd line of Burrows Hansen and Kesler will be formed and I like it. Shut down the other teams top line and can score.

Next year Booth Jensen Gaunce 3 rd line

I thought they had him playing with Bobby Orr, now that he's been sent down.

Been thinking the same think, watching the last two games

Not really a natural playmaker on that line, but Hansen and Burrows are both decent passers, and seem to work well together.

That would be one fast, difficult, defensively sound second line.

edit: I doubt AV would trust that 3rd line defensively, though. And I still think Gaunce will get another year in the OHL. Maybe in two years, though.
