Schneider isn't getting traded.
- Nucker101

Schneider is not amused . His answer was a little more smart ass today.

Imagine yourself with a chance to get a good job elswhere and your boss comes to you and says "Stay on with us, you will be our main man" . You believe him and 9 months later after being screwed , he tells you "Change of plan"

How would you feel.

Gee you 'Nuck fans are a fickle bunch.

Not really. Most of us think that both goalies are excellent and that Gillis should get the best deal and keep the other. There are some Schneider over Luongo fans who were out in force last season. There are/were some diehard Luongo fans (I am one -- even though I think Schneider is excellent and I like him too). It's the media and Leaftools who create all the other crap. Which is quite ironic since they don't even have an NHL goaltender! We all know Luongo's contract is long and a good cap hit. We all know Schneider has not as much experience. It doesn't matter -- they're both excellent goalies.

Boy if this is the #1 problem... give me more.

Oh, how dare a team have two great goalies!

How dare they be professional about it!

How dare Gillis do exactlky what he said he was going to do!

Agreed . I think are about 75% who just want to see the best return on either trade. We are happy with either.

I think the core of this team is mature enough to support either goalie and ensure a long run.

If you don't have holes to fill then not an issue. Our D played well last night and Burrows Hansen plugging holes until Kesler returns.

We do need to remember though it was the AVS

Man I really can't wait until Kesler gets back. The team needs the dynamic edge that he brings to the table. With Kass officially on the first line the reunited duo of Burrows and Kesler will reap havoc going against the top lines in the league. If he was here for tomorrows game we would see a very frustrated Hawks team.

ha --- sorry to quote myself but Pierre Labrun is trying to start a rumour that Bell and Rogers will Buy the PC and bring them to Ontario and then split so one owns the leafs and one the non-leafs.

I say that is on Ek's rumours within 2 hours.

Nah.. we are waiting for the "Spring of Kessel Trades" and moving on from the "Winter of Louongo trades". Ahh.... rememeber the Year of "Kaberle Trades" or the "Year of Sundin signings"... good times.

Why would anyone give up Couterier for Luongo Canucks fans can hope for something like. What is funny is that this guy is adding worthless players like Ballard and Ramond to the deal. What is this fantasy hockey where you trying to fleece someone? Who wants the canucks thrash? It was Gilis's fault he gave up Grabner for Ballard in the 1st place.

Kessel? LOL Good luck with that. Canucks don't have anyone that the Leafs would need to move for him.

I rarely agree with AV but he is right Burrows is our most versatile player. I think its awesome when you have a young un-drafted player who gets his priorities straight and shows his true potential one of my all time favs.

They gave up JVR for a Leaf player so anything is possible with that crazy bunch of bastards.
