uhh Seth Jones please! this team still needs help and having Jones as the #1 pick would help. Radar should sit out this year and learn a (frank)ing lesson about being a team player.. not trying to milk the Avs for a payday we would all regret. Landys most likely got a concussion.. trust me; being in medicine, concussions are basically touch and go and this teams scared poopless about telling its fans our new captain is concussed. He is.. its most definitely the case.. any medical professional that saw the hit.. he got it square in the jaw..and that always results in a concussion with the kind of impact he took...def shouldnt have been on the ice because again.. you cant diagnose a concussion for about 2-6 hrs (it takes time for the brain to bruise.. like any other bruise you get on your body)
Downies out.. we have an imbecile coach strutting the likes of (frank)ing bordelau out there..when the teams main problem has been being penalized and not scoring... Saccos gotta go..but not before we grab Seth Jones first overall... we lost half the season.. im ok with losing the rest |

I don't follow the Avs closely, but Sacco has never struck me as a guy that can light that fire. |

We just need to wait for the offseason, fire Sacco and Sherman, hire Roy as GM/Coach, trade Stastny for a bag of pucks, sign O'reilly if we haven't already done so and hopefully draft Seth Jones. |

Stastny soft in the offensive zone, loses the puck and Calgary scores. Keep up the good work, Stastny! |

That would all be great stuff. But you still need more Defense. Your D is one of the worst in the league. |

Wilson would be the only other d-man besides Johnson I'd keep (From the current lineup). |

Yeah I would keep wilson to, but put where he belongs, a 5-6 pairing. But bc of poor dmen around him he has to be a top 3 |

Are you seriously going to ignore the obvious mistakes Sacco has made as far as not giving our best players the most ice time?
Also don't agree with anything you have said regarding EJ, he needs to control the play more, and play more. He also needs to start joining the rush more as well. Hes been more of a stay at home defense first type lately. His spinorama's are not anything like Duchene's former ones either. EJ spins to put his body in between the forchecking forward and the puck, and often gives himself more time to make a pass or carry the puck out of the zone. We need MORE of that NOT LESS. By that I mean we need another defender who can do the same type of thing.
EJ's outlet passes are about the only ones that have worked lately as well. - Steve-B
So far this year, our best players are getting the most ice time...
I agree EJ needs to control the play more, that doesn't mean he gets to hold onto the puck and try to go coast to coast, split the D, both dump and then chase at will. He is getting better at doing what he should be doing though. His spinorama's are very similar to Duchene's... Why do you think Duchene does them? To make SportsCentre's play of the day? No... to separate the opponent from the puck. But usually, EJ just ends up turning it over. I also wouldn't argue that EJ has the best outlet pass on the Avs. But, that's not saying much. Like I said, this team doesn't have very many puck movers.
And do we need another 6 ft. 4, 230 pounds defencemen, who has all the tools? Absolutely... But every team in the league is in that same boat.
