Roster move please....why dress Bickel just to sit on the bench all game. - TPC
Yup. If there is no one else to pick up somewhere else call up Miller and play him. When Kreider is good to go, play him. Better than the lost souls fourth line. Ridiculous. |

I'll be the first to say because I'm tired of the stubbornness, when does Torts get fired?, guy can't get scoring out of Nash or the PP, and we have to see Bickel as a 4th line forward while anyone on the Whale is a better option, for christ sakes make it easier on everyone - cranford93
I agree, but mostly cause I'm so frustrated with our play right now. But I don't see torts being replaced in a shortened season. I feel your frustrations though with torts. |

Next 3 games...Tampa, Devils, Isles....doesn't get any easier |
|
|

Rough starting month to the season, but we weathered the storm with a 3-4-0 record.
February we got 12 games. 5 home, 7 road. Pretty easy schedule, no back to backs.
Lightning x3
Islanders x2
Habs x2
Jets
Sens
Caps
Bruins
Devils
Figure we go 8-3-1, end up at 11-7-1 (on pace of 99 points in 82 games) at the end of the month.
If they continue to disappoint in February, I will be willing to have a conversation about how bad we are. |

Yeah tired of Asham, Halper, Bickel and Rupp, god dam we have no depth, call up the kids we're waiting on already, Miller, Thomas, Hrvik, one of those 3 has to be better |

Problem is all of those teams minus Jets and Caps are playing good hockey. Won't be easy at all |

Yep, we traded him for his goal scoring ability, really surprised he's only scored 1 so far |

You're assuming what we are seeing doesn't continue and problems are answered, i just don't have that faith yet.

Well, you have Gaborik, Nash, Richards, DZ, etc. and your PP looks this bad? You cant make that work? Something's out of sync here. |

|
lol, I am not at that point - TPC
I am! Sick of things not changing. PP has sucked for three years. No change. Time to dump Torts. He's run hi course.

True, but when you look at the talent level of those clubs it is severely below the caliber we have been facing in January. So I believe this team can and will beat teams that are playing well but are not as good.

I assume what we saw against the Leafs and Flyers (part 2) will continue, because that it what happened last year when we got to the conference finals. And because the team has gotten better as the preseason, whoops I mean regular season, has gone on |

what i dont get is they practice the PP. when they practice are players just friggen standing around like they do in actual games? cuz if they are then it falls on the coaches, but if the pp looks good in practice but in an actual game they dont do anything then it's on the players. i assume they stand around in practice though. |

Why not hire Leetch to help teach the powerplay...I am sure he has some good ideas. He is at all the games anyway |
