I was at that game! Haha, Jagr & Hollweg had a 2-0 breakaway & Jagr passed it over to Ryan, awww...
It was 5 or 6-0 Rangers over Tampa, it was one of Avery's first Ranger games & Colton Orr scored too! - B2B76
If this is the same game im thinking of, im pretty sure torts went bat poop crazy on the officials, he was nearly on the ice screaming at them. I remember thinking how much i couldnt stand him, a couple years later hes our coach.

I wasn't his biggest fan at first, to be honest. I thought that he lost that Capitals series for the Rangers in his first year (or was a contributing factor), and took me awhile to get over that. Now, as much as he still be dbag on occassion, I wouldn't take 5 other coaches in the league over him.

Think so, Orr had I think 2 fights with Andre Roy, beat him bad both times, one of the ones ya remember, + I only go to a game or 2 a yr.
Going to the Moz which I swore I wouldnt do again for Rangers/Isles Sat April 13. Free tix, cant pass that up, but the drunks there on both sides are too much.

I think we have the right group to play for him. The older guys respect him and the younger guys dont know anything but his passion. Hes very abrasive and always rubbed me the wrong way as an opponent but he gives 110% for his players and they give 110% back for him. If they dont...well, just ask dumbass Hagelin

I don't like that he called Hagelin dumb, but hey if gets the message across then that's all that matters I guess.

Yeah that place can be unbearable sometimes. Im going on feb 14. Should be a good match up but we'll see.
When i went to a game two years ago a huge brawl erupted one section over from me about 5mins in to the first period, they threw about 10-15 people out. I was just shaking my head.

If hags doesnt have a problem with it (and i havent heard that he does) then i dont have a problem with it. I dont think he meant that hags is a dumb guy, just more tht he made a dumb choice.
we need Nash to have a big game, or anyone on the top line really. the 3rd line might work if Rupp doesn't have to skate around much, and I do not trust the 4th line. Should be interesting to see Gilroy play, him and Stralman could make a good offensive pair.

If he did have a problem with it, none of us would know it. Cally might, maybe a close friend on the team and that's it. I didn't have a problem with Torts calling him out, but it should not have been at a presser after a game whenhe's still hot. If he wants his team to show discipline, then so should he.
Love it! Arty begins to smile. Knows that's the funniest thing ever! - evitageN
This is apparently a very common prank pulled by hockey players.
It usually happens during practice or warmups when the water bottles are lined up on the boards, someone will half-unscrew the top of a rookies bottle... and sploosh.
I remember some player saying he always checks the bottles carefully before drinking to make sure they are sealed.
Clearly Arty took some liberties at Weise's expense.
