What happened with Malkin and Staal? Saw a replay but couldn't tell why they were making a big deal of it. - nfph
just a scrum. Malkin hit Staal, cleanly. Staal got made. Both gave eachother a couple love taps. that's about it. |

Hags is fast and has a little hustle but not much else...
Rupp... Ugh... He got nothing, not even a punch no more...
Asham... Another ugh... he might win a fight at some stage but other than that... he got nothing...
Stralman... trying too hard and failing...
Halpern... Where are you?? You don't stand out at all...
It kinda looks like Gaby, Richards, Nash, McD, Cally, Del Z, Staal, Giradi & Hank are the only ones doing stuff... the rest are staring to look very average and gumby poo bum bottom |

Malkin chopped Staal on top of Staal's head, while in a wrestling match with Staal, behind the Rangers net.
Refs didn't catch that and it could have been really dangerous. - MidnightMarauder
Not good. Just saw Staals reaction, which was actually pretty impressive. |

Malkin swung his stick as he was on the ice and hit him square on the top of his helmet, Crosby also slew footed Gaborik in the 3rd, both went unpenalized, Malkin deserved an extra 2 but it's Pittsburgh so they get the calls as usual. |

The Leafs game was a perfect example of how the execution is meant to be done. We played in their end all game, and over 60 minutes it paid off. - Rags2Riches
Yeah - but then again it was the Leafs... |

Agree with the rest but you are wrong on Hags, he's got hands, he can score 25 to 30, he hasn't played a full season yet.

Well I saw Malkin hit Staal in the head with his stick, looked like he did it on purpose but tried to make it look like it was part of his falling motion. |

Worst thing that could of happened two years ago when Boyle netted 20. Never ever see that again. And if he didn't have that year, I doubt he's on this roster right now. - Mactruck
Doesn't help that he's a 6'7" wussy either... |

I know, and I hope you are right... But all I see him doing at the moment is skating hard and fast but not getting the points... YET. He will... because he doesn't seem to get down when things aren't going right. |

That's what it looked like, and I'm like - why is MSG paying this 3x in a row? |

that wasn't clean. but Malkin intial hit staal and then staal tried to get back at malkin. When Malkin was falling that's when he cracked staal in the dome. |

The only positive to come out of last night's game is that Crosby is still a little biitch, complaining to the refs after getting hit cleanly then pulling yet another uncalled dirty slew foot, must be the Garden lights.

So the can-opener move and boarding of Crosby in the 1st period by Del Zotto behind the net was a good no call then??? |

Rupp and Asham can come back to the Burgh anytime! Not to play hockey but they can come have an ice cold Iron with us anytime they want. Ran into Rupper 2 times while he played here buying Iron City, real cool guy. |
