Hamilton would have been on their 3rd consecutive sold out season.

I do not understand how the players aren't pissed about these terrible franchises. Bigger HHR is good for them no?

That's an interesting perspective from a Blue Jackets fan. You should know first hand how having a crappy team can affect a fan base. The Blue Jackets had one of the most solid, loyal fan bases in the league until one embarrassing trip to the playoffs and years of being a doormat started taking a toll on the attendance.

The Coyotes only started becoming good during the ownership mess. They've generally had crappy teams up until then, so why should the fans become emotionally invested in this team until the ownership issues are solved AND they have a decent product on the ice?

Stable ownership + winning = any team can be viable in any market. Even Phoenix.

These are excellent points. I undestand that Mr. Jamison still has room if you are convinced this is a great investment

And just in case you wanted numbers. Last season in a NON PLAYOFF YEAR the Bolts played to 96.7% capacity over the entire season. This season we are at 100% capacity (and actually above b/c they have sold standing room tix). So save your "bad place for a team" crap for when you know what you are talking about.

you just proved my point. when a team has sold out crowds and yet has to sell tickets so cheap they still lose millions of dollars, they probably shouldn't have a franchise.
