Thats one of the few things i have complete control over... I never get forced to see any movie...

But then again I'm still getting yelled at for making her watch district 9 in the movie theatres... she still curses at me for that...

- Flyersgod

Me and the (soon-to-be)wife haven't been to a movie theater since we met each other in '08.

I'm a-okay with it and so is she.

I just hate the Rags. it always seems like they have 2 blue shirts out there for every one orange. any goal we get seems like one part miracle and one part giving birth.

Ehhhh. I am enjoying the season. Sure I get annoyed with a lose and all that other jazz but I like the kids on this team and I want to give them a chance.

Are their players I want to see more out of, sure! but my expectations of this season was that of a development year. I There is alot on this team to be excited about and I look forward to watching this team grow, together!

People are going nuts right now because of this poor start to the season... lets look at the roster now, as in today, compared to the playoffs last season.

Out: Carle (FA), Jagr (FA), JvR (trade), Hartnell (injury), Meszy (injury)

In: Feds, Foster, Gervais, Knuble.

Pretty even trade right? Come on... we have to expect some drop in play. We are still skilled, but losing 3 top 6 forwards, and 2 top 4 D-men... ouch

- jak521

all you have to do is compare the Flyer's first line to the Ranger's first line. Read,G,Simmonds? C'mon.

Been beating that drum since the start.

Compare them to other teams in the league. They are exactly where they probably should be.

I hear you GGunks. The one shame is that Bryzgalov is playing out of his mind and not getting rewarded for it.

I also believe the Boss, Ed Snider won't share your sentiments if the lackluster play continues.

I didn't see it....anyone have a video/gif?
- Giroux_Is_God

I dont have a video but during one of the man advantages the Flyers were scrambling in their own zone you could see Bryz gesturing to the dmen as they were breaking out to settle down.

got to admit, I'm dissapointed by Knuble. I'm afraid he's done. Not too impressed by Rusty either.

If they play like this all season something will go down before its done.

I dont buy that he will accept it as a development year. If they can get good value somewhere I'm all for a trade. I just dont think now is the time with so many teams in the playoff hunt.

I think it would be a dumbass mistake for fire Lava.

I think a couple of losses this weekend and something will go down Peanut. Not sure on what scale though.

Every guy on the team matters.

No matter what their role. Knuble and Feds may provide "leadership". So did guys like Lappy and Betts, along with doing much more for the team overall when they were healthy.

And in those two games against the Rangers the Flyers have held that top line in check. So as Bill alluded to, there are some positives.

Yawn. I saw the trailer and could have sworn the title was, "It's a Good Day to Get Another Paycheck, Please?"

Can't they just get another action star, put him in a building or something, and have him fight terrorists? Big titles like Die Hard are way overblown anymore, I'll gladly take a Dredd 3D over It's Another Phrase With The Words Die Hard anyday.

I dont think we see a repeat of 06... but honestly.. thats exactly what this looks like. A ton of young guys, some serious talent, growing pains, slow defense.. The only exception, like you mention, Bryz.

Its a shame because the first couple of Die Hards were awesome. Hans Gruber? What a villain. But the newer ones get hokier and hokier. That trailer is ridiculous.

You mean Messrs Willis and Stallone at ages 57, and 66 aren't good action stars anymore?

I hope we've learned not to do that...

I'm not surprised this team is playing like it is, but i'm disappointed. I had this year chalked up before it started.

Hell i actually didn't think we'd have a year.
