I've noticed that time does go by faster... i think it has to do with having less time for yourself...

All the sudden my wife has power over how i spend my time. Watching the Flyers is a battle..

- Flyersgod

I always DVR the games and start watching around 8:30-9pm when the kids are winding down. My two boys love hockey and watch with me so i dont get as much poop from the wife.

I know what kind of point you were trying to make but Stefan never had a place in the NHL. A second round pick overall should always add up to something. I just feel your point was completely lost on me. As for what to give up, I would give up voracek and Laughton in a heartbeat for Ryan. We lost jvr in a bad trade that is currently hurting us. We need offense.
- SuperSchennBros

I think the offense will come when the players start playing like they are supposed to/usually do. Can't score when everyone is sucking.

I totally missed Bryz saying it, probably because I was busy screaming at my TV. Man, it's like they couldn't even hear me!

Apparently they must not run this drill in the combine.

Not sure i would characterize the JVR trade as bad. Schenn has been one of the only steady performers night it and night out.

My apologizes, I mixed up Patrick Stefan with Logan Stefan but even so. Crosby and Ryan both play at a stars level.

I think you can have a bad player in a crop of bad still stand out and still play well. So I don't buy.that excuse.

How about Voracek & Laughton for Phil Kessel?

Kessel has more goals than Ryan over the past 4 full seasons and start of this one(135-132). Kessel has more speed and has produced more on the PP than Ryan has over the same time frame.

Who?

I think there is a big difference between Crosby and Ryan... If Crosby is a star, than Ryan is an every day player. Im a fan of Ryan.. but I dont think he is the end all be all (and not saying thats what you are insinuating). This Ryan craze is nearly as inane as the Upshall craze.

If it came down to a purer scorer.. its Kessel by far.

Just wondering about the Bobby Ryan love, or if any consistent 30+ goal scorer would be acceptable.

When I have to come to the Flyers comment section for calmness and sanity the answer is apparent.

Absolute disaster of a game last night, and the reaction today shows it.

Its the love... Bobby Ryan is a Jersey boy, despite spending nearly his entire life in areas other than Jersey. He has had questionable work ethic and attitude questions in the past as well.. but ONLY because the Flyers are the only team he wants to play for.

There are probably 50 players I can put up that I think would better benefit the team.

Crosby is head and shoulders above Bobby Ryan. And I think there are cheaper options to trade for than Ryan.

The loss of Matty Niskanen is a tough one. Hell of an underrated player. I think we will see the Rags and Pens really turn it around and blow out the rest of the division. The Flyers will be inconsistent and finish 4th in the division, and Devils last

BOB RYAB scores REAL goals unlike other players who score FAKE goals (like Scort Harty & Mark Reed). Plus BOB RYAB is Robby Clark's SON.

In seriousness, I'd love Patric Hornqvist. Even Nino Niederreiter or Magnus Paajarvi.

Yea, I saw the Leafs guy mention that.

If you had your choice today.. and had to make a move, whats the most reasonable move you would make. Tough one, I know, but wondering who would you move and for who in return....

Well, the last two are less proven. I was looking for a guy with a NHL track record of sustained offensive goodness.
